Dee on Tommy Lee

"His mainstream notoriety comes from honking a boat horn with his dick"

DJ Tommy LeeSmack Talk -- Twisted Sister seems to be lighting a lot more fires in the press in the recent calendar year or two. Add to that a grip of lawsuits against small town Mom & Pops type food trucks and coffee shops. The "We're Not Gonna Take It" heroes seem to be holding true to their hit songs lyrical content and lashing out at everyone from nobodies to rock stars. Last year Dee went off and drudged up old news by arguing with Krokus over stage clothes from 30 years ago. Now Dee is slamming Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.

We're assuming it's all part of the plan to up the ante and just get the bands name in the press. All good.

This week Snider takes a few swipes at Tommy Lee and grabs old news again when he mentions Lee'sability to honk a boat horn with his dick. Hey, if you got it - flaunt it. We give a thumbs up to anyone who has a wang that can honk horns.

We've got the right to choose!

Dee Snider - Right to ChooseDee's July 12th tweet has made headlines all over the country.

"Don't know why some people are so shocked I'm pro-choice. The first line of 'We're Not Gonna Take It' is 'We've got the right to choose!'"

'We're Not Gonna Take It' has become the unofficial anthem of HB 1 opponents.

My Dad is Dee Snider

Written by Shane Snider

Dee SniderI’ve been hearing my dad’s music my entire life. As far back as I can remember, on my family’s VCR sat 3 VHS’s, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the movie, ET and Twisted Sister’s music video compilation. I’d watch my father drag Mark Metcalf down the stairs and snarl at the camera without batting an eyelash over and over and over again. It’s weird to think of all the questions I didn’t ask.

I never wondered why he was dressed so funny or why he was beating up this father character. I didn’t even realize the band was wearing anything out of the ordinary. To me, bands were like super-heroes or cartoons, they had outfits they wore all the time, that’s how people knew they were one of the good guys… or bad guys… or group of screaming war-ready up-rising transvestites.
